Plot y against x, then fix the visible window: the x-axis from xmin to
xmax and the y-axis from ymin to ymax.
Return the Axes. Setting the limits explicitly overrides matplotlib's autoscaling, which is the point -- the window is a decision, not a consequence of the data.
